I'm looking at an Ibiza Cupra with it fitted.

I'd just like to know is it of real use in the real world. I understand why it works etc.

How long does the average tank of water last? What sources of methanol can i use?

etc

Cheers
Steve

depends on the size of the tank, the trigger method and if its a mappable system, and just how much they are pushing through.

Ask the owner.

Then so long as your below 12psi you wont use water.

And the rate of consumption will depend on how much it is set to flow at the trigger point.

More trouble than its worth I'd say. I had a water injection system on my 5gtt that was running big boost, helped to keep the mill in one piece but the pumps did'nt last long.
My uncle Willi flew a Focke Wulf 190 equipped with water methanol emergency boost system, he reckoned it saved his arse more than once.
