Water Under Back Seat Of 2001 Mk2 172

When i lift up the back seats in my 2001 Mk2 clio 172 and tip them forward , there are always 2 small puddles of water , i've noticed them since the car was a few months old , its only primered metal so i was wondering if it was condensation from the warm air in the car as i have the heater on pretty hot most of the time .There are definitely no holes in the bodywork .
Anybody had the same thing happen to them or any ideas where the water could be comin' from ??

You had the same problem then ? Whats the best way to get it fixed , is it a window out and refit job ? I'll have a look tomorrow see what i can see .Where abouts on the rear window does this usually happen , would i be able to see it ??

it is a take it out, and re-seal it job in most cases -£40 / 50 i would think. my two windows cost me £80 to have them come out and re-seal the two. go to a body shop, they will have someone who they use for windows.

it comes from the bottom rear of the offside window (normally)

if you take of the rear door cards, you should see it running down the front of the rear arch.

alternatively, have you had any nervous rear passengers / kids in the back or lastly over excited girlfriends / wife?
