Water under foam

  S2 106 GTI
Since driving back from guilford a few weeks ago and found loads of water in the drivers footwell and in the rear I took all the carpets up and let them dry, I placed them back in over the weekend but left them so I could lift them out again as it was raining all weekend.

I found cleaning out the sills helped alot - I left the carpets up so I could see where it would leak in... Nothing at all :D

Put the carpet back down so I could drive around - came to look today as it has been raining, And two little damp patches have appeared but they are on the 'sound deadening' it looks like it could be soaking through from underneath??

Has anybody had this??

Right came this morning to find a little puddle of water, in the drivers footwell. It was very small puddle but I couldnt see any way the water got in as there is no trail??

Strange one? I know sometimes the rear windows weren't sealed the best and could leak water, but that usually ended up in the back............

Has it had a new windscreen? Should have Renault wrote in the bottom left hand side, and x2 airbag stickers?

Not that I know of mate?! I used the thread on here to clean out the sills which has helped alot but I kept the carpet up last ngt and came this morning to a very little patch on the sound deadening and around the side of it?? couldn't see any tail of water other wise I could see where its coming from!

Maybe I could use talc powder and that should show?!
