Web design training/courses?

Hey,

Im looking in to web design more and more these days, everything i know is generally learnt from experience and have never been taught or educted in it.

What is the best way to learn, are there any good night courses? books? etc...

Any help appreciated,

I just did it as part of my course I was doing. Didn't specialise in it.

how much do you already know? most generalized night classes are usually from the rock bottom i would imagine...

i learnt from just messing around trying different things and looking on the internet over a number of years, but I guess you want to learn it quick

I know a fair bit, I have built sites using dreamweaver etc... but wouldnt mind knowing more about scripting, how to do certain things. I can look on the net, but sometimes i think it is best for someone to start from the very basics to the top and teach you the correct way

I used to think this way too, until I found it much easier to teach myself. The internet is your best resource tbh.

After learning basic web design, html, styles etc, this is what made me understand the power of CSS.

I created my own zen garden site which was hard work, but I got the hang of things, then from there on, I have just progressed. Learn something new every day!
