This may sound tight by me, but I want to host my website but on a monthly basis. I look at 1&1 Hosting, and they have good prices, but they want to to pay for 6months up front, and I dont want to part with the cash. Would be better for my situation if I could have a direct debit of £5/month for example.

I have had a look at these http://www.dataflame.co.uk/ who accept the monthly payment, but I think I may have a few problems linking my domain to the site, so I rang them and its a bloody overseas call center coudnt hear a word that was said.

Any other companies I should look at?

www.liquidsix.com is who i use, most of my domians are registered else where like 1and1 and namesco but i just chaged the DNS settings (fairly easy to do) and everthing works great. Good prices too and very reliable

1&1 are good for money with the packages, but don't expect good customer support. I've found www.unitedhosting.co.uk to be really good, and another one which I used to use a few years back www.supanames.co.uk

I have gone with this one, and all is well. Accept, I have transferred a domain name over to it, and its gone titsup.

dont go with a company called streamline.net. proper s**t and the support staff are useless!

iv hosted my online shop with fasthosts and they have been spot on!
