Weird speaker problem, got me stumped!

POut all my original stereo stuff back in and the rear speakers and tweeters are working fine.

However the door speakers arent at all, they are only getting about 6volts each so tehy are geting power, just not enough, quite confused!

Anyone able to shed some light on it?

Car audio can be so annoying at times!

I take i when you say "standard stereo stuff" you mean there are no external amps, just the head unit amp?

Yeah just reno factory stuff. Would be surprised if the wiring on both sides was damaged!

lol you wont be able to measure the voltage at the speakers as it is real high frequency ac

is it grounded on the door somewhere

Well its not earthing on the door but Id missed something really obvious! When I was checking I noticed that 1 of the wires had corroded somehow so sanded it down reconnected it and its all gravy baby!! Cheers for the pointers!
