Welded Steering Column

Hi all, Ive managed to track down a pre welded valver steering column and im wondering how big a job it will be getting it replaced with my old one, my current one has got alott of play in mine so im looking forward to getting it swopped over.

Any ideas?

I'm sure I've seen this as a thread but cannot remember where - have you searched in the steering and suspension section? Haynes covers the replacement and it's not listed as a difficult job (2 spanners). However I've not seen it done so that could be b0ll0cks

think it involves the removal of plenty of interior dash. But I don't think you need to drop the subframe.

I just had a brand new one fitted at my garage for £70 labour. (old one failed MOT)
