hard cheese old chap, some pikeys did it to my polo gti, 4 years ago, except they went in through the locks, instead of doing the window, No fecking respect.

Aye. totally. see i'm glad they panned the window rather than my locks...

Why now tho, car sits there every nite for the past 10months....

What you get high rated for cause you know i'm right?

They didn't set mine on fire, actually, they set brothers saxo on fire and mine was parked behind it and caught fire

You know what that is you little prick............Its called KARMA!!

Gutted for you Ali, hope you get it sorted mate

thats sh*t mate.. i've had 2 cars done over in the past, both with nothing on show!!
once in a carpark where i used to work & the other on my parents driveway (in a nice area i might add!)
Wa**ers
hope it all gets sorted mate

:( Gutted to hear mate, it's probably because the car has been sat there every night for the last 10 months that they've finally decided to do something. You'll be picking glass out of it for months as well...

I always leave stuff on display in my car, just lazy really but you never assume someone will break in whilst it's sat outside your home.

Really gutted for you mate, like people of said you maybe should of hid stuff but it aint the point, you shouldnt have to!!!

is the car not alarmed? surely that would set it off. the only problem is they know where it is and might come back in few weeks when they guess it has been replaced, not a nice thought but something to think about.

FFS Mate, there's some right little b******s about these days, needing a good kicking if you ask me!!!

all this talk of "you shouldn't have to hide stuff" and "people should have respect" is all nonsense, people don't have respect. End of. Hide it, lock it, alarm it, nail it down, or it gets nicked, simple.

They won't come back, too many other cars full of unprotected stuff. The thieves will know this particular owner will have removed everything of value, at least for a while.

Hey,

ffs, i know the feeling. Just thinkin that some ars*hole sat in the car and touched stuff :dead: :dead:
Some f*ckers actually tried to nick my PoloG40 from right in front of my building, under the streetlight! They didn't smash anything, but I had to sell it.

The Clio now sleeps in the garage every night, although it sometimes scrapes the front splitter going down on the ramp.
Oh, and for the short periods that it actually is out someone nicked my antenna. A standart antenna .... ffs.

Best of luck, mate :)

Dont worry, same thing happens when yr a c**t and people set your car on fire,eh Joel. How can u say that, unless yr one of the scroats that rolls about stealing em. What after that Joel, " oh she had a short skirt on your honour, she was asking to be raped" You suppose to remove the flat screen TV off the wall, everytime you leave the house, dont be silly.

Gutted for you mate. Its shocking the amount of threads on here about this sort of sh*t. Scum of the earth.

:dapprove:

Sorry to hear this mate - the ident branch might find a clothing fibre or DNA scrapping - you could be suprised.

Let me know if you need a hand with anything

Just to give you a bit of hope - My car was broken into in january time, did the lock rather than the window (cnuts) they didn't get anything from the inside but just from prints on the outside of the car and a CD case in a car nearby that was broken into, the lad got caught, and is now serving 6 months (proabably realisticly a week) and I got no compensation either. But the police do seem to do an ok job.

thats fuckin shite mate, i always leave my stuff on display, ipod, hu, road angel, might not do so from now on..

seriously wish the police would do something to catch these sorta people.. you got cctv?

Justin:

to put it in perspective, when I was workin tonight in Livingston with a population of 70,000 people - there were 4 cops covering the whole area and a bit more. So dont be blaming the cops that are there doing there job, blame the politics and politicians
that leave such a shortfall in officers serving the public.

They will get the guy Ali - just probably not immediately. Its Britain at its finest

When my nova got robbed the police came up about 3 hours later opened the car door and sid oh it is plastic and we cant get prints off that. Also i said what about the foot print on the passenger seat? There reply was it could be mine and left. Oh im gutted for you mate :(

Gutted for you Ali, There is no worse feeling than the realisation that your pride and joy has been fucked with. It has happened to me with every car i've owned except the clio (touch wood). Hope you get it sorted soon mate.

Wounded.

Gutted for you dude. I remember when my 306 got done. The worst bit was finding bits of glass inside for months after. :( :( :(

bus = the worse invention ever and depressing.

I take it AutoG have done you well though?

Just seen this topic, what f*****s :( really sorry to hear that Ali. The photos are nasty too..

Guess all you can do is clean up, buy a new HU, get the window sorted - and never leave ANYTHING in it again.

After 5 years living in Portsmouth I learned not to leave anything at all in the car, no CDs, nothing in the boot and nothing in the glovebox. A few cars got broken into down my road but amazingly never mine (although it got keyed and damaged instead).

I've never bothered putting a new HU in either, the standard one's hopefully not worth nicking. I'm so glad I have a garage now, and the 182 goes in it every night!
