Im lazy - I know and cant be bothered reading the manual, but......

Whats that little button thing for underneath the passenger-side wing mirror. I only noticed it this weekend while washing it. The drivers mirror hasnt got one?

There is a hole for another one on the driver side mirror too - why?

I had to tape mine up to stop the whistling noise!

And in the cars with Climate the little Blue nipple (or grill in older cars) near the rear view mirror is the internal one.

Presumably the sensor is on the other side on the european Clio, otherwise theyd need to route the cable differently and possibly a longer cable, so both mirrors have the hole.

Jesus, just looked on Dialogys: 77 00 773 858 EXT TEMP SENSOR 63.29

I had to have mine replaced on my 172 when it was 3 weeks old. It was reading temperatures hotter than the sun on the external temperature display. lol
