What’s wrong with my car. . . . .

When I accelerate my temperature guage goes down and it judders. Also when i stop at lights or something it idles at about 2000 revs before slowly going down to normal. Its a 54 plate 182

i had this and it turned out to be a leaky temp sensor.



Watch out as it is probably pissing out water so check your water level.

This is similar to what happened to mine about 2 months after i bought it from new, just took it back as it was under warrenty. It was in 4 times before they changed the temp sensor and al the wires to go with it, been fine since.

Temp.sensor,had mine done after 2500miles.Temp.sensor tells the engine its cold when it is hot and puts the choke on,flooding the fooker(good for a smoke screen though!!)
