what baseband is 3G 4.0.1??

hi fellas going over to the sisters tonight to Update AND jailbreak their iphones.

the sisters 3g needs to be unlocked so im wondering what baseband will it be if i update it to either 4.0 or 4.0.1

i will also be jailbreaking the boyfriends(hers not mine ) 3gs

currently there phones are
3g 3.1.2 jailbroken and unlocked
3gs 3.1.2 standard

You'll rape that 3G putting on 4.x, I would wait a few weeks when apple have a more compatible update tbh.

Some 3G's can't handle iOS4. Some can.

There's no way of telling before you do it. Then it's a fair bit more effort to put it back. I'd stay where you are. If you do it, restore it, don't just update.
