What colour shall i choose for re-spray

  Mrs' valver! &myV6 veccy

I know im after red of some sort.

I want it to stand out, but not look O.T.T.

Thinking along the lines of red with a slight flip in it? Anyone know where i can get this sorta paint from? & any ideas of prices? Only want a small flip.

Also has anyone had any experience with putting flip paint on? Is the flip in the laquer or base coat? Ive got no idea with this stuff coz my dads never used it, so if anyone knows.....?!

The car is gonna be very standard looking, apart from things smoothed & stuff, so i think a very mild flip would look good.

Opinions, pics, ideas anyone please?

Cheers,

Al

I think thats what itll look like if i were to re-spray it in the original colour! Well, very very close to that!

Thinking very mild flip or small pearl really. Stand out!

Looks lovely on a 172 though must admit, thatd be my choice of colour if i were to get one.

I saw a Scooby in RE in Bury last year that had a mad flip paint job done by Dawsons, and that had a couple of scratches on it and a crack in the bodywork.

They said the owner had no choice but to leave it like it was, as the cost of the re-spray was too much.

Stick to a normal colour (like naples red) or think of something different!
