What connector is this?

This connector was not connected to anything in my engine bay. Does anyone know what the connector is for? is it there as part of a loom for something that my car does not have?

Edit: its the pink and grey connector that i'm on about, i found it dangling down but pulled it up for the photo whilst i had the air box off.

looks like an air inlet temp sensor. check arounf the inlet mani for a small grey connector and plug it into it

Is the air inlet temp sensor not the one just to the left of it that has the small tube going to the larger pipe?
