What difference will it make?

  Land Rover
....the 182 is at Birchdown having among other things a new cam belt.
They discovered that the timing was a tooth out from whoever changed the cam belt last time.
Will that make a difference to the way it runs when l get it back?
Hopefully it might improve the drive ability in traffic where it tends to kangaroo in first/second gear.

  dan's cast offs.
little bit but you may not notice though. if anything it may just start a bit quicker, less cranking. i've had them miles out and still ran ok.

Yes it runs fine, apart from being a bit of a pain in traffic (although the new clutch will help a lot with that) it’s been rolling road tuned and goes very well particularly when on the motorway, pressing the “resume” button on the cruise control produces acceleration at least on a par with my Z3 and if anything better.
And that was a 3.0 M Sport.

Just to update this thread, in case anybody looks it up in the future. The engine is transformed since the cam belt was changed.
It must have been the timing as it is now smooth as silk with no kangarooing at all and a much better idle with no lumpiness.
