What Do I Do???

Hey All,

I bought my 172 ph1 on the weekend. Starting to mod it already. First thing I wanted to change was the nasty halfords like airfilter on it. Having looked at posts on here I thought I would put the original air box back in (was in boot). I Was excited so I bought a ITG filter. Come to fit it all today I have major problems! The air box has lost its clips!!!! And the 90 degree pipe with the original box is not there. The one on the halfords piece of crap is way to long for original box! SOOOO What Do I Do??

1. Buy new box from Renault £60, and pipe (not sure how much). Not sure if it would fit as I dont know what else is missing any mounts or anything like that! Plus I have spent out on filter.. looking at over £100 to put right.

2. Do I sell ITG filter and just buy me a BCM CDA????


Please help, new to modding cilo's!

i am making one for ph1 with one really big caf if you fancy it, will fit your fillter only thing is you need the 90 degree bend http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=346095

saw it, wasnt sure on it. Think the hole is to big now, will let in way to much hot air unless u have a big tube to fit to it!

yeah thats the point you get big pipe for caf will try and find the one on here that has been done

Anyone got any other ideas? Think I am just gonna pop into Renault tomorrow and hand over my cash!

No need for a new box, just get the clips from a motofactor for cheap. They are universal. The 90 degree bend pipe can be from renault of there are samco versions too.
