What do people think of this?

Going to see it saturday, rang up today and it seems sound enough, even if it does have quite a few miles on.

I do like it, and would buy it, but not sure on the colour, i dont know if i like the silver, especially with those silver wheels, think the 172 wheels look better with silver.

nothing wrong with mileage, should be able to do double that.
check its had its belts etc done.

Had belts done at 50k, and i'll be doing less than 5K a year so mileage will average itself out.

What do you think i'll get it for? £1500 + mine

Rare thing. Completely non cupped. Same as my missus car. The silver wheels definitely suit it.

price seems ok. non cup packs tho, for me they would be a must. mileage is fine.

It looks very sleeperish, i think.

I want to choose my own suspension, so it makes sense to get as new a car as possible and then just buy a spoiler and splitter if needed.

I regretted buying a cupped 182 because I wanted coil overs and they are more expensive.

Just to get this right in my head, does the non cupped 182 have the same suspension as a normal 172 then?

Or were cup packs an option on normal 172's too?

No no cup packs on the 172s

172, 172 cup and none cup or cup packed suspension 182s have same bolt spacing

182 cups and 182FFs (both cup packs) have same bolt spacing.

Cup packs are a must - even if its just to keep up the resale value/selling point.

Dont know if anyone cares, but i saw the car this morning.

Something was very dodgy, it was hpi clear but has been in some sort of accident as you could see a crease in the passenger side door on the inside. Also the bonnet wouldn't open, the wear inside indicated it had probably done more miles than it has too. I was just overall not impressed with the car, i had an instinct to just leave so i did.

The engine sounded sweet though, really quiet at idle, but the clutch pressure plate had gone and the airbag light was on, although this could of been the simple underseat fix.
