What do you guys think of these performance plugs

Hiya peeps

Was looking through Ebay and come accross a bloke selling these performace plugs and wondered if any one has used them before? They do look and sound the part, just wondered what you guys thought before buying them.

Never used 'performance plugs' before, but I think they will be asmuch use as a £5 resistor or an electric supercharger thing'y...................Thease are rubbish BTW

I think Renault would have explored every avenue when they were developing the renaultsport engines , things like plugs etc ...

NGK - PFR6E-10 fitted as standard , they are supposed to be good for 72k .I'd just stick with the originals .

Denso 0.4 Iriduim if you want a good plug but not cheep about £ 10 a plug and only last 20000 k or so

Renault stanard plugs are about the best you'll get and last 72k many tuned car suse these as upgraded plugs.
Renault plugs are good hence why there £20 each.

my mate swears by HKS plugs in all his tuned engines turbo or N/A hes got them in a 2.0 turbo volvo, 1.6 8v nova GTE, Calibra turbo and uno turbo

you only need uprated plugs if you uprate. higher compression turboing etc

I would contest the fact that they last 72k (apologies of I'm wrong):

AFAIK, renault originally thought they'd last 72k - only then to put a note on their system to change them "if needed" at the 36k service??

If they're good for 72k, why bother putting that note on the system?

I'll probably change mine @ my 48k service to be safe.

^^^^ mine only lasted 30k on my 172 then needed changing , started to stutter under 2500 revs .
