I know this is such a massive topic on here and Im sure people will go mad when I mention it again! I have searched through loads of old topics but I cant find anyone thats said it.

When you change your head unit and get an adapter for the steering wheel controls, does everything (the track jog wheel, source buttons and volume buttons) work?

By the way I went into halfords and the guy told me that the computer says there is no lead available for the steering wheel controls on a 2003 clio, but he reckons this lead for £40 will work, as he knows someone with a 51 plate thats got one. Wot do you think?

there are cables available for your car, but it all depends on the head unit you are getting, you need to remove the top half of the dash to fit these, not a complicated job, but not many people want to do it

you need two leads

there is an FAQ on this at the top of the page

Yeh, but when you fit the adpater, do the steering wheel contols function the same as they do with the standard headunit? I guess the volume buttons will work, but I dont know if the jog wheel and source buttons will still work as well?
