What DS games does everybody have? (another DS thread!)

Car  Black S2 106 Rallye LHD
What does everyone have?
What do you want to get?
What isn't good?
What about GBA games?

I only have New Mario Bros. and Mario Kart so far...

I'd like an RPG next so am looking at Animal Crossing and Mario&Luigi; I am also intrigued by touchpad-focus'd games such as Phoenix Wright Attorney and Project Rub.

I'm looking forward to the new Zelda, but am not sure what other releases are in the pipeline.

Are there any GBA classics worth picking up?

Thanks,

Mario is ace, but its not taking long to complete.

I'm still only on world 5. However, I am trying to collect every single star coin on every level (the ones with starcoins).. It's proving to be a bit of an arse.

My friend has got to world 8 already, whereas I'm only on world 4, but I spend most of my time on MarioKart.

The Mario v. Luigi multiplayer game is very good on New Mario Bros.

Does anybody have Mario and Luigi Partners in Time?

im on world 8 on mario :rasp:
trauma center is good but how annoying is the nurse that keeps saying doctor! all the time

yeah that nurse really annoys me. especially when you bodge an operartion and have to give it another go... you just can't skip her!!!

Sounds like a cheeky game.

£30 each game is a far wad for me though.

I'll have to look into renting, or a shop with a good returns policy, to ensure I only get games I really like

play.com are normally a fiver cheaper than everywhere else.

plus free delivery.

lol if you could turn her voice down/off it would be so much better :)

Only takes a few hours to quickly run through Mario, but the stars, secret paths and secret levels take time to find :D

I've seen Mario 64 on Play for £18 IIRC. That was a larger game I think, but I'd like to try new stuff rather than replay games I've had in the past.

i've just ordered the mario and lugi roleplaying game off Play.com

I really enjoyed the GBA version a few years ago and this is meant to be just as good.

Super Mario Brothers is far too short, completed it in 3 days, I've now completed every level including both the secret worlds, just gotta collect all the star coins.

It's all about the PSP, forget the DS.
Dont be so foolish.

Name 10 good games on the PSP. Actually, name 10 psp games that are actually worth buying!

The DS has loads of very playable long lasting fun games. the psp has.. 3

I have both a DS and a PSP all fully loaded so to speak, so don't suggest I'm a nintendo fanboy.

psp and ds are different beasts imo.

psp is an entertainment machine.

ds is a gaming machine.

Picked up the RPG, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time.

The graphics are basic and it starts a little slow, but I think I'll get into it.
I was tempted with Animal Crossing, but I need to play it before I decide if it's for kids or not :)

i have been playing the mario and luigi game for approx 12 hours in total so far. i am finding it very addictive!!!

Animal Crossing has taken over my life (again!), it's all I ever play. Made worse by the fact that the missus has it too so we end up crossing towns and all sorts.

Really surprised and pleased by the success of the DS, critics wrote it off at first but it's selling at least twice as many as the PSP on a weekly basis and to date has sold at least 5m more worldwide (although Sony won't release figures, but they've shipped less to shops than the DS has physically sold to customers, so it's fair to say they are worried), pretty amazing for a "kiddy machine" really. Big companies like EA have even recently announced that they are shifting more focus to the DS and scaling back PSP game production, bet they never predicted that a year ago.

Seb, does it get better??

I'm only an hour into it and there's a lot of talking. Not much to do yet.

yeah it does get better imo.

the levels get much longer with the save points quite far apart.

none of the 'puzzles' have made me think too much tbh yet but i find ti enjoyable worknig uot the best ways to beat the end of level baddies and exploring every knock and cranny for freebies.
