Finally got round to giving the RS a clean. Working nights and crap weather meant it was a month before it got cleaned! Very happy now!

Took it for its MOT and asked the garage to fit new braided lines and a replacement rear calliper.

All sorted for another year but will be getting tyres soon.

Doing the bushes/steering components on the mrs 225 at the moment as the originals are shot at 67k. Not a bad job to do everything has come undone with no hassle. Cleaned up thr track control arms just awaiting a coat of dexo gel and fresh paint.

First wash in ages!!! Also helped clean the girlfriend's car. Great little car!

Replaced rear discs and pads, rear spring, outside air temp sensor, fit fuel rail guard with studs and carried out a service. Wish weather was nicer, kept running back inside garage when it started pissing it down lol

Went along to Spring Action Day, however the amount of constant red flags, accidents and poor conditions meant the Clio stayed parked up all day.

Got some positive comments, lots of photos taken of the car throughout the day whenever I was around the area and it seemed to get nice attention which was pleasing.

I avoid Spring Action day for this very reason. The fact that Castle Combe is the ONLY UK track Greenlight Insurance refund to offer track cover at is no surprise!

I’ve been cleaning the exhaust.... did the tips and decided I want to take it off to clean it all up properly! So that’s Saturday job!

Started on a load of pre-summer cleaning jobs. Cleaned in the front arches, cleaned the car in general to begin claying. Clayed from the front back as far as the door handles. Then tidied up the engine bay a bit. Productive but unfinished!!

Went to Renault this morning too pick up shocks and saw an awesome LY RS MK4 (is the big intercooler a behind the grill standard?) Fitted shorter sport shocks too pass mot and eliminate knocking noises. Fitted new rear exhaust mount as it has seen better days

No, that's an aftermarket Airtec intercooler and red piping.

Fitted a Whiteline antiroll bar this morning. More fiddly than I expected. Not been out in it though so no idea what difference it’ll make.
