what hdtv would you recommend

I can't recommend the Sony Bravia KDL-40W2000 enough, I've had it for about 4 months now and it's amazing. I truly believe you get what you pay for with TV's (and all electrical stuff for that matter) and this Sony didn't disappoint me. Great spec at 1080p with 2 HDMI, great sound too compared to some others I considered (Samsung/LG)

right tbh the best tv's for the ps3 are any that support hdmi 1.3 i know the x series toshes do

hdmi 1.3 supports a wider colour gamut so everything should look better colour wise as both the tv and the ps3 support v1.3 also now does 10 bit colour

also it can now do the hd audio
too unlike 1.2

just got a 52" Sony Bravia KDL-52XBR4

Fook me it's amazing! playing Gundam on it at the moment, colours are so vivid, and the sound from the on-board speakers is great.

blockbuster are renting blueray now - limited range, got 3 in my list waiting to be delivered.

telly not in place yet still on the floor, so i get a sore neck trying to watch it at the moment!

I've rented a few from BB. Hardly anyone rents them so they are always scratch free. You need to watch 300 on that badboy, also Apocalypto. They looked amazing enough on my S series.
