Can anyone tell me what this is on my wind screen?

I gap in the windscreen tint to let gps signal through I once got told. Don't know how true that is?

I have heard this as well. Something to do with the radar detectors (like the snooper or whatever it was called) to be able to work through the tint

I goT told it was sumthing 2 do with toll roads in france :/ nt sure if its true tho

That's what I heard although same principle for sat nav etc. French toll roads often have pre paid cards and apparently you stick it there as that part of the windscreen as it is free from tint...
