i have no idea what a v5 form is but my cars MOT is in march every year so i guess it was registered in march and i think they made changes to the clio suspension design thats why i need to know when it was registered. so if MOT is march my car is registered in march yay or nay?

Nay, you can have an Mot at anytime within the 12 month period.

Your V5 document is the piece of paper which says that you are the registered keeper of your vehicle.

S reg is from August 1998 onwards anyway, so it was registered from 1st Aug 1998, not that that means it could'nt have been built 6 months earlier and waited for S registration.

right i found the form my old dear had hid it (bloody woman) it says the first registration was 13 08 1998 but the question this site is asking me is was it registered in march 98 or september 98...........shall i just go for september like the previous person said? sorry about all the questions im a bit rubbish with this sort of stuff

It won't matter realy what springs are they? Only possible chnage is one is for a Mk1 ona done for a Mk2 if so then ther'd be a big price difference.

For safety, I would say go for the march 1998, because, it had definitely been built by sept 1998, therefore unlikley to have whatever revision was in sept 1998 that requires the different product.
