What no resistor pack ????

I have read a few posts about the heater fan not working as the same thing has happenend to my wifes 53 plate 1.2 expression.

I have see a photo on the forum of where the resistor pack sits as I thought it might be the same problem, but there isnt one there. Am I looking in the right place or does my wifes model not have one, and if so what might the problem be ....

a friend of mine is having this problem in her 54 plate 182. how do i get the clip of thats holding the scuttle cover on so i can bridge pin 1 and 5 to check its the resistor?

sos for hijacking just didnt think it was neccesary for another thread.

I sued a but of force and a pair of pliers to get the clip out but there was no resistor pack there !!

okie dokie i used quite a bit of force and just seemed like i was going to start snapping things.

also i think i read somewhere that there might only be a resistor if you have climate control do the 1.2 expression have this?

ive just bridged pin 1 and 5 and the fan works. so what does this mean? resistor pack goosed? if so how much am i looking at to replace it? and is this the only thing it could be? thanks
