What Paint To Use To Paint Calipers??

i was in halfords the other day was confuse what hammerite to buy so toke some pics of the two types i think are the right stuff can someone confirm what it is i need to buy thankx

Go for the smooth one.

just done mine in smooth red. wire brush it, cellouse thinners, rinse and dry, then give them 4-5 coats. perfecto!

but it is the right stuff tho yeh direct to rust metal paint ?? same stuff you guys used? what did u apply it with a brush?

yeh that stuff is fine. just a thin brush to apply

^^^ Paintings painting mate . Not rocket science , lol . Just make sure you give them a good clean first . I used these wire brushes in a drill , you can buy them in pound shops as well . Imo it's easier if you have the calipers off , but then again i have a spare set .

Lots of people on the coupe club have been using japlac instead of hammerite and all say its better.

i used heat resistant spray paint on mine, didnt take calipers off just masked all round car and masked brake pipes and bleed nipples
did a mates car using brush paint and wasn't really happy with how it came out bit uneven and didnt really dry properly much prefer the sprayed look
