What remap?

Right i dont no anything about remaping of cars what im after is...:approve:

• higher rev count
• bring the power back up as iv heard most 172's are down
• better response
• better MPG or fuel use

now i am a complete r****d with this so just names of the best remap companys or stages? and prices if possible. Just want to get the engine in shape before i do any engine mods

Waste of time mapping it before doing any engine mods as you'll need to map it again to get the most benefit.

I want to know why JMS remap is £135 and K-tech are £287, both Groupe N

Not sure on the Ktec one, but the JMS map is the RStuner group N map.

They will plug the box in load the file map done.

oh i think K-tech are tailored to your car then, but its a silly amount extra, but then they offer an exchange basis so that would not be tailored to the car

It depends if Ktecs is a live map or not, i havent looked at their site.

I hear great things about JMS, and sure they do good work.

The RS tuner is 180-200 quid usually, so u can do your own map. Then sell the unit on.
The units cos roughly 50 quid a time to unlock, once unlocked you can do another map another car.
So u can potentially have the map for 50quid. The Rstuner is Really easy to use if you spend the time to read the instructions, which most seem not to do on here.

We also do custom maps if required with our LC-1 gear, that will cost around £180.00 (tbc) instead of the usual £135.00.
