What should I do about my tyre.

I bought two Pilot Exalto tyes about 10 months ago. The front passenger one has a blep on it and need replacing a.s.a.p, i'm going to get it done today, but the drivers side tyre is perfect, but not as much tread on it as a new tyre. Do i replace only the defective tyre or buy both?

Nort Eastern Tyres and Exhaust said they will send the defective tyre back to michellin and if its faulty I will get some moeny back, depending on how much tread is left.

I have nankang on the read, i'm going to put these onto the front and then kill them and buy two more new michellin ones for the front at a later date.

Personally I'd change them both and keep the good one as a spare. But it depends how much tread has gone, if its only a little bit won't affect it much.

Well the guy at the garage said leave the old one on, it had 6mm tread left. Its done over 12,000 miles lol. Most of it motorway driving.
