What size rim/tyre combo

just curious, as i was looking at a tyre site the other day and they had all sorts of sizes I never heard of like 185/50 14s or 195/40 15s.

185 is the width of the tyre .... 50 is the percentage of the width that makes up the tyre wall and 14s obviously the size ! so a 40 compared to a 50 would be lower profile (on the same diameter tyre) .... get the drift and 205 is wider than 185 etc etc And thats just tyres then theres the rims with PCD etc etc
