what spacers you using?

  1.2 Dynamique 16v
I'm using 5mm spacers all round, and have no problems in regards to tyres scrubbing etc. But I think they would look better if they were spaced out abit more.

Just wondering, what you got? and at what point are hubcentric spacers required?

id say use hubcentrics as soon as the wheel is no longer resting on the hub!!

the bolts arn't designed to take the weight of the car!
personally id poo myself everyime i drove if i had over 10mm without hubcentrics!

also,
hubcentrics is just the name thats given to spacers that fit the bore of the wheel, and have an identical bore on the spacer, so that the weight of the car isnt on the bolts.

its not just the name of bolt on spacers, though they are also hubcentric! you can get hubcentrics that just use longer bolts!!

hope this helps.

was just bout to start a thread like this o wanna space my wheels out on my cup mate said 10mm on back and 5mm on front would that look odd and what would you advice????

tommys I get no scraping at all. I'm on coilovers, and had a full car and got no scraping.
Any bigger then 15mm each side on the rear and I would though with a full car I think.

We have a 20mm kit on the rear (a machined down 30mm kit as they dont do a 20mm) and a 60mm kit on the front.

Eibach Hubcentrics

Its not quite wide enough yet so will be sticking the 20's on the front and another set of 30's on the rear once we have 'made some room'

You need MEGA camber to go that wide tho

Burp - can you not just do the thing that Bommer did for the rear, saves you buying another set of spacers.

I need to work out what spacers i need/want as i have Ultralegs with a ET37 offset, do you think the 60mm kit would be too wide?

Got a tape measure?

Remember phase 1 wheels are a sillly offset. We had no choice but to fit spacers to stop the wheels rubbing with anymore than -2.5 camber after switching to oz's from some pro race 2's

i ran a 50mm kit on the rear of mine, and lowered on coilies and got loads of rubbage on the walls, so took them off. I would say 30mm kit max on the rear. Not sure on the front but as said possibly run some camber on it as well.
