1.4 from the specs

Evil Ice out of interest what do you use the pc for? 233mhz seams a little slow to be of use for dvd, divx etc?

yeah its a 1.4 but ive got a 1.7 turbo being sorted soon.

My mates bird lives in Hinckley so I go over there quite often.

The PC is used for MP3s (my headunit doesnt play them) and the odd game etc. It runs through the system and the big screen. There is also a program on there using sensors to monitor system and inside sub box temperatures....just in case!!!

HU: Alpine 7894RB

Amps: Rockford 60 punch, Alpine T301MRV (if I remembered it right), 2x Power Acoustic A3000DB

Components: Kenwood (front - Neodium magnets), Alpine (rear - Neodium magents). Think they are neodium, they are very light and small.

Subs: 2 x Power Acoustic MOFO-12

Power: Optima Yellow Top

Currently running at 4 ohm, but will run at 2 ohm or maybe 1 ohm when I get a car with a bigger boot. Will need more batteries though... ;o)

looks like you win then dogmaul....nobody will ever beat that. All that high pitch distortion much kill your ears....lol

16vneil - have you ever had any trouble with the nemesis amps running at 1ohm. I used to have one and it got replaced, then the replacement died. Apparently they need a very heavy duty electrical system (like yours really)

I also found that the Nemesis wouldnt play the lower frequencies (20-35Hz) very well. I dont know what that was all about but im more into streetbass than SPL so I swapped for the Audiobahns (trade prices and all that :D) Im very very happy with those.

Last year I managed a 149.7 (old mics) running with almost completely flat system batteries, a knackered alternator and a dodgy front battery. There have been a few mods since then so im looking for a fair bit more this year.

we have never had a problem with them , ur right about the power supply thou , with the impedence rise of the box they never see a 1ohm load

im up for a cliosport ICE meet whats the most central location for everyone??

my install is all over my local dealers shop at the moment after someone crashed in to me should all be installed back by the end of the month so im up for it any time in March?

Well im near Birmingham but im willing to travel (within reason). It depends where everyone else is I suppose.

My car wont be out of the bodyshop for another week or so either so March or after would be a good time. At least the weather might be a bit better now.

Clio_007 - The Kicker L7s do get very loud with enough amp power through them. Sub technology has moved on a lot since they came out though so there are much better products out there now for the same or less cash. However im still happy with mine (even though i did fry 2 last year.

thats wot i was just about to ask, how did u manage to get ALL the plastic bits off the seats/interior sprayed???

The interior was painted with just normal high build primer, laquer and Tahiti blue spray paint from Motorworld. No £14 cans of proper interior spray round here.

The paint quality is pretty good. It will come off if you mess about with it too much and some areas (especially the silver bits) need a touchup now. The dash has been done for 4 years and has never needed a repaint...just as well really cos its a dash out job.

Richy22 - To get to everything is a right mission. Its a full dissasemble job basically and takes a few days to do.

The place that has my car at the moment doing the exterior respray will also be doing my new dash when i have the spare cash. They will fibreglass and filler over the whole thing and the doorcards to smooth it off, cover over or change any bits I want and also paint it for £700 all in...bargain!!!
