what the diffrence??

Need a 48k serivce on my 172, i could go to rentech for 150 ish.......or go to a local garage and get it done for about 60, and they will use good oil i give them and use genuie renault oil filter.........i know they guy who owns it and i know they will do a good job.............what you think? what do i get for paying more??

if u go 2 a renault dealer then they will have ticksheets saying all that gets done on a 48k for example it mite get oil n filter change and brake fluid and coolant or sumthing. but at a local garage theywont know what it should get at that stage so mite miss sum part of it out. like it may just be a oil and filter change they give u if u understand this. lol.

lol..............just not sure yet.......i dont want them to miss anything...........i wanna go to rentech but its a bit of a treck to get there :S is there a tick list somewere i could get hold of and make sure they do all that stuff and my local garage?

it all depends on wether your bothered about your servise history or not? as in keeping it up with renault dealers or specialists. if you've got full R.S.H, i would keep it up as i helps when trying to sell the car at a later date. also Rentech are supposed to be the dogs b****cks!!!

Rentech seem to be doing a good job for people on here...
