Found this resting near the bottom arm of me valver, please tell me where it should be and what it should be doing. Cheers Mario

I resent that Fred and when I pop down to see the wee fella I will come over and poke you in the eye for that.

anyway that my man is the bracket that supports the exhaust manifold to the engine block. Uses a 16mm bolt in the block just above the sump and a 16mm bolt in the manifold downpipe flange (the 3rd hole) and the bolt is usually broken off in the manifold.

It also gets int he way of starter changes, so if someones changed the starter its often left hanging or binned.
 
Hmmm...looks like it could be the support bracket for the exhaust manifold.

Edit: Note to self, must read all post's before replying!
