What to ask when looking @ a 2nd hand car

Right, my mate is looking at a Mazda car tomorrow.... its done 70,000 and is going for £1000... what questions should i ask? for example, whether the cambelts changed... etc... every single detail please.. thanks

The usual, is it been crashed, any outstanding finance, service history, how many previous owners. Just the usual, use the body work to haggle them down as well.

Has he done an HPI check?
