Right got a bit of a problem my renewal is due on the 13th of next month.

I know am going to sell my 182 within the next 3-6 months, due to I will need to get a standard diesel as my mileage will be going up ALOT :dapprove: Have been looking at Audi A4's etc.

And have been looking in to the 'specialist' insurers, because they seem to be the cheapest. But heard they can be quite expensive for insuring a standard car? :S So would it be better to stay away from them if am thinking of getting a boring standard car in a few months?

Yeah, I would. Stick to someone like Elephant or Admiral if that's your plans..

Brentacre were fine for me to move from modified clio to standard BMW on a modified policy. The only issue was RWD experience, but that wouldn't matter for the Audi.

We are also able to change your policy from a modified/performance one mid policy should you change. You could then gain the rest of the NCB with us and then look to switch to a mainstream insurer at renewal. If you got bored of the diesel we could also allow you to modifiy with remap etc should you wish.

Being a lower BHP it may also generate a rebate on our policy when you switch it over.

Will have a look about for prices, but tbh all the car has done to it, is an exhaust and a V6 airbox. which am probably going to swap out for a standard one anyway....

No problem I can give you a price on the 182 and then what you would get back in reduced premium for changing to the other lower group car.
