You have to be a full member. Which invloves monies. But, it is worth it. If you end up with a 172 you'll only properly join then anyway.

You dont get anything for free on this site mate. Personally I am feeling the site out before I part with my 10 quid. All I can say to you is belts, history, and make sure it dont crunch when you change gear quickly. New gearbox if it crunches :( hpi it too before you part with cash.

The membership pack and access to members knowledge is worth the money on it's own. Plus the member discounts will save you lots more than a tenner.

Its the best £10 you will spend all year, and if your already a clio owner its a no brainer. No other forum I have paid to go on has been as good value/informative as this one.

I know what your saying chaps and yeah you are right. But I am still a member of the astra owners club til sept this year. I get my discounts, and advice of old clio owners. My cheap insurance with flux etc. So I am on trial with this site. If I like the attitude I will go ahead and join ;) prob with this site so far there are quite a few know it all young lads on here that jump on you for something you believe is true. All I can say is I thought a gear stick light on my dash was a shift light but I am wrong :(

Cheers

It is worth the tenner. Their are people on here who very helpful, the wealth of knowledge is huge, has saved me hundreds with learning how to do jobs to the car myself. You learn to filter out the few Knobends who frequent the site, every forum has them.

The main thing to look out for is wether or not the belts have been done/if they are due soon. These can cost anywhere between £400-£800 to have them changed, depending where you go.

cool not to worried about belts because if they are due/need doing will do them my self as i get all my parts at trade prise as its what i do for a living

I paid up about 6 months before i ended up with my 182 and ended up with alot more knowledge and the perfect car for me! :)

Worth it just for the buying guide, im not trying to sell the site to you here, but seriously i found it very useful!

kk i jus thort it was aimed at me coz they removed my post saying how much to expect to pay anyway iv been looking at a few adverts and when i sell my g40 i shud have a budget of £2500 to £3000 would like a ph2 172 but will more than likely end up with a ph1 172
