What to use for gloss White

I want to spray my wheels gloss White, and was wondering if anyone can recommend what paints, lacquers etc to use?
I'm worried if I use Halfords stuff it will be matt which will look silly

I'm too cheapo to send them to be refurbed before anyone mentions that!

You can get a decent gloss but you'll need a lot of lacquer.

So about 8 coats of halfords lacquer would do the job?

If i was you i would spray them yourself and get a wheel refurb place to lacquer them cause rattle can lacquer sucks! and buy the time you spend £6 -£9 a can on lacquer a body shop will do all four for £30 maybe less, maybe more

That sounds like a plan, I'll ring around some local body shops.
