what to use on Alfa 156 dash

Hi guys, i'm wondering what to use to beautify the dash of al old alfa 156 (the wife's)
it has quite a rough surface that when cleaning it with an apc it starts foaming!
Just looking for something to restore the finish etc.....something like rejuvinate?
