What tyres??

Getting a set of Ronal LS. The wheels are 15'' x 7.5''. I'm looking at either 195/45/15 or 195/50/15. I understand that the difference between the two is the tyre profile, but will one give better handling than the other, I would prefer better handling than the look of a lower profile tyre.

A lower profile tyre usually gives better handling but slightly less comfy ride. But the difference between 195/50 and 195/45 should be marginal, I reckon.

In that case 205/50 15 would also be an option. But from the way gsw's question was phrased, I doubt he's aiming at track use, tbh.

Not looking to use the car on track but don't want to get a tyre that is going to compromise the handling. Just need a tyre that will handle well but also suite the wheel style.
