What video editing do you use?

Got loads of hi def from donington yesterday but need to shorten many of them, some are over 20mins:S
Good job is was wet on some of them:D
 
Sony Vegas is great. As said above, it takes a bit of learning but is very powerful. Think of it like the video equivalent of photoshop.
 
Depends what quality you want to achieve in the end, i use windows movie maker as it's free anyway but for better quality ie HD then i use sony the PMB software that came with my sony HD camera.
 
I'm using AVS video editor, fine for HD and for basic editing.

Although I'm looking into sony vegas now.

Sorry to hi-jack Steve, Bazzon how's sony vegas with sound filltering and editing?
 
Sony vegas can do everything that you will ever need to do there is plenty of plugins for it.

it is worth reading tutorials and watching videos though.
