What wheels and tyres

I've a set of 300mm discs on the front of the Clio 172... What size of wheel or what wheel would be good for rallying?? Can a 15" squeeze over them?

Also what size of tyres to go for?

IIRC anything over 280mm and you'll need to run 16" wheels.

Ditch the 300mm discs and get the OE size (280mm) and some light weight 15" wheels (less un-sprung weight) and some decent tarmac rally tyres, DMAC seem reasonable and can be had part worn cheap enough on eBay. This set-up will also be much cheaper on consumables.
