I got beat by a 323 on Thursday but I didnt think he was going to go for it so stayed in 4th under 3000rpm - not the best place to accelerate from when he booted it i was slow to realise - when I got going I closed on him until the traffic - it was nippy what ever model of 323!
theyre 135 bhp standard 1.6 turbos. If its got 160 i presume its been chipped with exhaust etc? It will probably have you off the line with 4x4 etc, but rolling start should be quite similar. Dont know how much they weigh, but probably quite heavy with the 4x4 even considering the size being not so big........
just found out they weigh 1210 kg. So with 160 bhp thats 132 bhp per tonne....
EDIT -hmmm, i think i got this all wrong! just read elsewhere http://www.323gtr.nu/eng/http://www.323gtr.nu/eng/ that it houses a 1.8 turbo with about 187 bhp. Thats the 323 GTR by the way. They also do a GTX which maybe the 1.6 turbo? im confused.......
i "raced" a normal boxster the first day i bought my car and it was pretty evenish. He was a nutter tho and i wasnt used to my car etc (allegedly running it in) and he took some 50 mph bends at some controversial speeds........they do handle....
