Car  182
Can anyone sugest the best product to use when adjusting coilovers, mine wudnt budge last time i tried and its pissing me off, what can i spray to help free them?

KY ;) Surely any good silicon spray would be fine. If they are really bad might be worth removing and giving them a good clean.

My mates going to do that but i thought i would give them a go while on the car to see if a good spray can free them up

C spanners are a good start ;)

Failing that, clean the threads off with a wire brush, WD40 the f**k out of them and leave to soak.

The problem is the adjusters have seized, Austin said te adjusters are plastic so putting heat on them will possibly damage them too much, c spanners haven't worked even hitting them with a hammer etc

Should hope they aren't plastic!

Erm .. pass... B&Q maybe ? Or motor factors...

Internet suggests you can get similar stuff at Halfords but looks like it freezes it, then you heat it up (blow-torch) and knock it off. If not, that link on the pic above, or amazon believe it or not haha !

KW/weitec/ap(iirc) are all plastic outer but with a metal insert adjusters.

Use some plusgas and if you have access to one, blast an airline down the threads.
