What's the fix for Brake lights not lighting when you press pedal?

searched as i know its common but i still havent sorted my brake light switch.

my prob is, the brakes only light up if i press quite hard on the brakes...so in traffic with light foot braking they hardly ever light up!


i have looked at + tried to push in the plunger switch above the brake pedal but to no joy

hmm strange that, maybe the switch needs replacing or relocating

Theres a screwdriver adjustment on the pedal itself near the top.

Pop into a dealer and they shud adjust it for you if your lucky for nothing. Not a long job.

mine used to be exactly the same as that never really thought much of it. cause when i pressed the pedal before the brake light came on wasnt really the brakes that were braking just felt like the car was slowing on its own as such.

When im in traffic I can feel the brakes biting, but no lights so to the driver behind me i think my lights must flash on/off quick...only when i stop.

Screwdriver adjuster on the pedal near the top? Any more info
