What's the + for?

Ive got a clio dynamique + and ive always wondered what the + was for?
Nothing i could see on parkers or anything to say what it is?

Oh I didn't realise it was the CD player, I've always thought it was that air con.

have another query too.
my car was made in belgium but registered as a uk car,doesnt make it an import does it?just my plate dont show up when garages try to get parts for it so they have to use my vin plate

i did 2 quotes on a 1.6 + one on an 02 plate the other on an 04 plate and the 04 was cheaper so maybe just my year was group 10

when the + models were about, tape players were standard, cd was an option, unless you had an upgrade to a +.

My car was made in Germany but also 1st registered in the Uk.(UK spec car). My car is classed an in importt and I have exactly the same problem as you do when needing parts. My reg number doesn't show up on Renaults records so they have to use my vin plate too. Grrrr.

I really don't understand why there is a differewnce with insurance groups with the 1.6. Mines an 03 dynamique + and is a group 8. It's all very confusing.



Edit: Dunc has just looked them on on 'What Car' and they say the Dynamique + is a group 10. So, why is mine a group 8? It also says an 04 Dynamique is a grioup 10 too. I'm really confused now! :S

Yes, my insurance compnay say mine is an import and it's registered as one.

This is where it gets confusing again. Mine is a UK spec car and was 1st registered in the UK, but it is still classed as an import as it was built in Germany instead of France. (Apparently). I didn't have to pay any extra on insurance because it was an import though. Because mine was an import I payed 2k less than it was selling for in all the other garages. Maybe it depends on what the car was worth NEW as to what insurance group it will fall into. I don't know, just guessing as it's all rather confusing.

Mines a 2001 Expression (unfortunatly) yet it has the standard Renault CD player, must have been an option from new I guess.
