Whats the Ripspeed Touch Screen DVD Like?

Looking to buy a DVD for my car and probably going to put it onto their finance...after looking at it its not that bad!

Think i saw it yesterday for £350...

Anyone got/seen it and anyone know if its any good?

It isnt face off so definately not gettin it..he also said they are s**t and that i should get the Pioneer one for £600...I think i'l leave it lol!

I can GUARANTEE there NOT pioneer internals at all. People think that but there not. I work in the car audio business and we kindly had the oppportunity to take both apart and the ripspeed one uses very cheap compnents inside. a cheap screen and mechanism. Hence the price!!!!!!!! It looks very similar to the pioneer and thats it!

iv got the non touch screen, had no problems with it only 1's when putting it inthe clio for the firs ttiem, some Wire had to be snipped, but they did that for me

cheap and nasty like all halfrauds products, suprised the big companies like pioneer havn't sued them yet for trying to copy their designs.

i personally buy a car stere for sound quality not for looks,

currently got an alpine 9853r in the clio it's not the flashest looking unit but has great sound quality and features for the money.

yes. alpine make the best headunits allround. fantastic quality and very good sounding. If you want a very good dvd screen get an alpine IVA-D105R. Great unit and does everything

ive got the n touch screen one, works perfectly fine, no problems at all! fitted it myself, piece of pish!
will do until i can get a decent touch screen one with sat nav.
the ripspeed touch screen one, isnt as good. the touch part takes a few touches to actually do what you want it to. either save a bit more or get the non touch screen one!

ripspeed touch screen player is shite. i know cauz my brother went through 3 units with major faults before getting a refund.
