The old serial ports kinda look similar to the VGA ones?

Except one's female, one's male, the pins are different, the colours are different and you plug different stuff into them.

Yeah serial is the bottom left and parallel is the top pink one.

His doesn't appear to be any

Thanks all. Looks like a 44pin dsub. Now to find a VGA connector for it
