whats this plug?

noticed it hanging down when i got my car back from its cambelt change

is it ment to be doing something?? not noticed anything wrong with the car,

it comes from under the steering wheel bit of the bash and had 2 wires attached

neither, diagnostics are under the ash tray, and its far to far away from the stereo, its next to y right knee

do you have a dash dimmer and headlight adjustment, if you dont have one of those then it looks like the plug for one of the switches.

Laura it's nothing to worry about iirc it's not supposed to be connected to anything. When I got my cup back from having the omex fitted I noticed that hanging down and Andy said it's not a prob. To be on the safe side though I'd get on the blower to Andy, with a pic.

Check all the buttons work on the little panel where the headlight adjustment and dash light adjustment is (or whatever is there on a 172mk2).

i think they probably use the same loom as the ph1 which has the headlight ajustert, ph2 dont = spare plug
