Wheel balancing

What symptoms do you get from unbalanced wheels? I can see the stickers on the inside of my williams wheels where a weight was once attached but has come unstuck, so im assuming my wheels are out of balance. Is it worth getting them done even if i cant feel anything wrong? I assume balancing the wheels is about 20 quid? Any help?

If the front wheels are out of balance you get vibration or wobble, most likely through the steering wheel. If the rear wheels are aout of balance the vibration can normally be felt through the whole vehicle. I suppose it depends just how out of balance the wheels are.

I drove a car with seriously unbalanced wheels once and it seemed to wander and pull all over the place, although it doesnt sound like you have this problem.

Wot is is its sommet called resonance, which means that when the wheels reach specific speed they wobble and vibrate, it might be that ur wheels vibrate at higher speeds, or are only very slightly off balence and so the virbation is too small to feel.

Other option is that there were once weights stuck on there and when they changed the tyres they removed the weights to re-balence the tyres.

I would go and get em checked out anyays, if you have a friendly garage you can often blag it for free.
