Wheel Refurb

Hi guys!
I'm thinking of refurbing my 182 wheels satin black, this is my first time spraying (uhh ohhh) and well.. lets put it this way, im pretty clumsy!
If i do something well its amazing, but i can easily do something silly.. getting to my point is it easy to refurb wheels, and to get an even finish?
Any advice would be awesome.

just recently done mine,done several sets now cant keep things silver lol plenty of prepping, take your time, give plenty of thin coats so no runs, rub down between each coat and then lacquear. also i used post it notes around edge of rim tucked right into the tyre perfectly so gets all the edge, and leave to set for a day. hope that helps. then put pics up of the work
