I've researched about but basically just want to know a couple of opinions on wheel refurbing. I've refurbed wheels before on my old car, but poorly and tbh the finish was uneaven but they were winter wheels in anthracite so I wasn't bothered. But on the Clio I want to do things better so wondered if people have refurbed wheels themselves and had good finishes with off the shelf paints etc?
I need to refurb a set but don't have the money to pay £200 ish to get them done professionaly so fancied doing them myself (I also have a week off and thought it might be good to try and utilise it for refurbing the wheels). They're Turini's and they'll be done in white, I've read the wheel refurb threads so have a good idea of the work, but do people think the finish is significantly worse than powder coating? Assuming the paint is less durable from a rattle can?
